The Brief:
 

This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday 20th June. Hopefully our customers will be able to visit their fathers/father figures as the country comes out of lockdown and vaccinations are rolled out, and are likely to want to show their familial appreciation after a difficult and isolating 18 months. We need to help inspire our customers in terms of gifts, cards/wrapping and celebration roasts, steaks and BBQs.

The Concept:

How many times have you been in a tough spot and your Dad has had just the right word of advice? Extraordinary Dads are often found in the most ordinary of circumstances. And it’s time that they were recognised as such.

The plinth treatment supports the idea by creating a natural hierarchy for the eye to follow. On Father’s Day, it’s only natural that you’d want to crown your Dad as a champion in your life. Because, through it all, that’s exactly what he’s been.
